Combining Experts and Online Crowds to Address Climate Change - Tom Malone

    Description

In this video, Tom Malone explains his reasons for creating Climate CoLab, an online community for climate change research and innovation.

Tom highlights the essential involvement of both experts and interested individuals in developing new climate change technologies.

He gives examples of some of the excellent grant-winning projects submitted to Climate CoLab contests, including the design of a solar panel that follows the sun, generating more energy and producing clean drinking water in the process.
