Sea-level rise could flood hundreds of millions more than expected

A report just published in Nature Communications revealed new data concerning the impacts of climate change-related sea level rise and flooding on many millions of people. In this article, James Temple, MIT Technology Review's senior editor for energy, reviews the study, which found that researchers have likely been drastically underestimating the number of people vulnerable to rising tides.
