Biden will direct billions in federal spending power to climate change

In his first week in office, President Biden made significant commitments to climate change mitigation by signing executive orders directing agencies to buy clean vehicles and electricity and prioritizing climate in national security plans, writes James Temple for MIT Technology Review. The test will be whether these executive orders make their way to Congress.
